This privacy policy (“Policy”) applies to the website, mobile applications and services operated by A C Agarwal Share Brokers Private Limited (“ACA”, “we”, “us”) and describes how we collect, use, share and protect personal information.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide during onboarding and operations, including name, PAN, Aadhaar (masked), date of birth, address, contact details, bank account details, demat account details, trading preferences, financial information required for risk profiling and suitability assessment, and any other information mandated by SEBI, the exchanges, CDSL, or applicable law.

We also collect technical data - IP address, device identifiers, log files, cookies and usage analytics - to operate, secure and improve our services.

3. How we use your information

Opening and operating your demat and trading accounts
Executing orders, settling trades, and providing reports as mandated by exchanges and depositories
KYC, AML, risk profiling, suitability and regulatory reporting
Servicing complaints, grievances and escalations
Communicating about markets, products, and service updates (you may opt out of marketing communications at any time)
Fraud prevention, security monitoring, and legal compliance

4. How we share your information

We share information with: exchanges (NSE, BSE, MCX, MSE), clearing corporations (NSE Clearing Ltd., ICCL), CDSL, SEBI, and other regulators as required; registrars, banks and payment intermediaries involved in trade settlement; auditors and external compliance assessors bound by confidentiality; law-enforcement authorities when compelled by valid legal process. We do not sell your personal data.

5. Data retention

We retain trading and client records for the period mandated by SEBI and the exchanges (currently a minimum of 8 years from the date of the transaction or such longer period as regulators prescribe). Voice recordings of order placements are retained per exchange requirements.

6. Security

We maintain administrative, technical and physical safeguards aligned with the SEBI Cyber Security and Cyber Resilience framework for Stock Brokers. This includes encrypted transmission (TLS 1.2+), access controls, audit logging, and periodic cyber audits by SEBI-empanelled auditors.

7. Your rights

You may request access, correction or deletion of your personal information to the extent permitted under applicable law and our regulatory obligations.
